The following 3 small grant programs have been announced for 2018: Business Assistance, Faith Based, and Neighborhood.
Stand Up for Salem (SUFS) is now opening a Micro Business Development Grant funded by the New Jersey Neighborhood Revitalization Tax Credit Program (NRTC). The purpose of the program is to provide seed money to low income residents in the city for business start-up capital.
Funds are available to low income residents in the city, and must provide goods or services in the City of Salem.
The Faith Based Community is an intergal part of any neighborhood, especially those that are low-income.
As such, Stand Up For Salem (SUFS) is now opening a Faith Based Small Grants Program funded by the State of New Jersey Neighborhood Revitalization Tax Credit (NRTC) program in the City of Salem to provide seed money to local Churches and Faith Based nonprofits for the development of new programs to serve low income residents in the center of Salem neighborhood from Oak to Olive Streets.
Applications are approved on a first come, first served basis. The maximum grant will be $2,000 and must be used for new initiatives.
