Alleyway Activation

Alleyway Activation

On a rainy day in June Stand Up For Salem dedicated our new mural painted by mural painter, Sam Donovan, Salem County resident and mural artist. The 4 panel mural shows some of Salem’s notable people and memories from the 16, 17, 18 and 1900's including the covered bridge on Rte. 45, John Rock, the Goodwin home and one of the sisters. Thanks artist Sam Donovan!

To make it even more memorable, SUFS recently received a grant from the Gloucester Salem Counties Board of Realtors to do an Alleyway Activation in the space as well.

Over the next few months the SUFS design committee will be purchasing string lights for the space, tables and chairs and an outdoor movie screen to host outdoor movie nights.
