2018 Small Grant Programs (Up to $2000)

The following 3 small grant programs have been announced for 2018: Business Assistance, Faith Based, and Neighborhood.

BUSINESS ASSISTANCE
Stand Up for Salem (SUFS) is now opening a Micro Business Development Grant funded by the New Jersey Neighborhood Revitalization Tax Credit Program (NRTC). The purpose of the program is to provide seed money to low income residents in the city for business start-up capital.

Funds are available to low income residents in the city, and must provide goods or services in the City of Salem.

Stand Up For Salem's office has moved to a new location, 223 E. Broadway. We're still in Fenwick Plaza, but are now across the plaza from our previous office, on the ground floor of the old senior care center on the corner of Walnut and E. Broadway.

2018 Cow Run 10 Miler & Calf 5k date set

The 5th Annual Cow Run 10 Miler & the 2nd Calf 5k will be held on Sunday, October 7, 2018.

The course is mostly rural farmland in scenic Salem Country NJ.

The event benefits the following organizations:

  • Salem Youth Recreation and Stand Up For Salem
  • Salem Stryders Track Club
  • Salem Little League
  • Salem Midget Football
